We are pleased to announce that construction on the Manyoni Extension water system #44 began in January of 2018 and finished in March of 2018!
This system provides clean water to over 800 residents of the thriving community in Songa Commune. We thank our generous supporters for making this project possible!

Women at the Karuhaya-Kuntatemwa project celebrate the completion of the first tap stand. Women and children are usually tasked with fetching water for their families and are most impacted by the completion for a water system.
In January 2017, our board of directors approved eight water projects to be completed by the end of year, which will impact 18,250 people in Burundi. To date, we have completed two projects and currently have three projects under construction. We are excited to share updates from the field on our current projects!
