There are many ways to support the Gazelle Foundation’s mission to provide clean water and improve the quality of life for communities in Burundi. While we love traditional monetary donations, there are lots of methods for bringing clean water and hope to the people that need it most.
Become a Sustaining Member
We invite you to become a sustaining member of our “Amazi for Burundi” giving community.
Amazi noun: Water. In the Kirundi language, spoken widely among Burundians, “Water is Life” is a common phrase to communicate the importance of clean water.
Becoming a sustaining member is the easiest way to support the Foundation’s ongoing growth and steady investment in bringing clean water to the people who need it most.
Matching Programs
Supercharge your contribution by leveraging your company’s generosity! We have already completed the paperwork necessary for the companies listed below and we are happy to assist you in getting the Gazelle Foundation’s approved in your company’s system.
Matching Gifts:
Many employers match gifts to approved organizations made by their employees. Matching funds are usually available for gifts of cash and/or stock.
We currently receive employer matching funds from: Dell, Silicon Labs, Samsung, Google, National Instruments, IBM, ILiveHereIGiveHere (Amplify), and others.
Payroll Deduction:
Payroll deduction makes it easy to give! We currently receive funds through payroll deduction from Keller Williams Realty Inc, IBM and Dell.

Please enclose a letter stating that you wish to transfer ownership to The Gazelle Foundation and sign the letter exactly as your name appears on the certificate. If the certificate is issued in more than one name, all owners must sign exactly as their name appears on the certificate. Do not sign the certificate itself. Once we receive the certificate we will send you a stock power that will be used to make the certificate negotiable.

Fund A Water System
Sponsor a water system and transform a community. The Gazelle Foundation builds an average of six water systems per year through traditional donations and fundraising. By fully funding one water project, you will significantly increase the number of people to get clean water each year and help eradicate water-borne illnesses and diseases in Burundi. We have systems ready and waiting for funding.
