Update on Current Projects

Manyoni Extension

We are pleased to announce the completion of the Manyoni extension, which will bring clean water to around 850 people.  The project included a 10 cubic-meter tank and a 5 cubic-meter tank connected with almost one mile of hand-trenched pipeline.  The project provides five tap stands for the community, including a local church. This project reduces the distance to fetch water from 2 miles to 400 meters.  And that's for clean water that will ultimately transform lives forever.

Members of the local church now have access to clean water. Burundians spend an average of 7 hours at church on Sundays.
