More Than Miles: Two Founders on the Power of Running

What does running mean to two people who have dedicated their lives to helping others?

For findhelp founder and CEO Erine Gray, running is a chance to clear his mind, find focus, have fun, and reconnect with what matters. For Gazelle Foundation co-founder Gilbert Tuhabonye, running has been a powerful source of hope, friendship, and purpose.

In this special conversation, two Austin founders share what running means to them, the friendship they've built, and their shared passion for changing lives.

As we celebrate five years of findhelp as the presenting partner of Run For The Water, it's especially meaningful to hear from the people whose passion and commitment make this partnership so special.

Take a few minutes to watch Erine and Gilbert together. It's a conversation full of heart and a wonderful reminder of why we run and what we can accomplish together.

We're grateful to findhelp for five years of partnership and excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Run For The Water together on November 8.

Be Part of the 20th Run For The Water

Join us November 8, 2026 to celebrate 20 years of Run For The Water. Whether you're running the 10-Miler or 5K, bringing the kids, or volunteering to help make race day happen, there's a place for you in this R4TW tradition.

RUN FOR THE WATER

One Race. A Lifetime of Change. For 20 years running, the Gazelle Foundation has thrown the best race in town. Each November, over 5,000 runners and walkers take to the streets of downtown Austin for the annual Run For The Water 5K, 10-Miler, and Kids K through our beautiful West Austin course.

The race benefits the Gazelle Foundation, dedicated to providing clean water to the people of Burundi. Clean water provides a path out of poverty, bringing access to better health, stronger communities, jobs, education, and most of all: hope. For those who prefer to participate in a virtual event, our Global Run (virtual event) is available.
