Progress is where hope becomes tangible.
Right now, two gravity-fed water systems in Burundi are more than 80% complete. More than 18 miles of pipeline are being installed, water tanks are nearing completion, and new tap stands are coming online. In some areas, clean water is already flowing while construction continues in others.
These photos capture a community in transition.
When construction is complete, more than 8,000 people will have dependable access to clean water close to home. Families, schools, and churches will have a reliable source of water for generations to come.
Every completed tank, every section of pipeline, and every new tap stand represents another step toward that future.
